Revolutionary Project Continues With Two More “Town Hall” Meetings In NEPA

Lakeville, PA July 30, 2015  –  There will be two town hall-style meetings, “Town Hall II” will be at the Western Wayne High School Auditorium on August 20th, 2015 at 7:00 PM and “Town Hall III” will be at the Delaware Valley High School Auditorium on August 26th, 2015 at 7:00 PM (doors open at 6:30 PM at both events) to continue introducing the local community to The ZIPPER JUNCTION Project™, answer questions, and gain feedback; this meeting is open to the public. The ultimate goal of this Project is to create a destination for people of all ages from within a 200 mile radius of NEPA to learn, share, create, and innovate, to discover their passions and have the tools to put their ideas into action.

The ZIPPER JUNCTION Project™, a Pennsylvania non-profit entity, is the driving force behind the creation of the physical space, Zipper Junction™, which aims to construct the facility in the Lake Region. Zipper Junction™ will become a destination that offers workshops, classes, discussions, presentations, sporting events, film studios, culinary experiences, technical education, 3D printing technologies, sustainable practices, and much more. The project requires the support of the community at large and these town hall meetings on August 20th and August 26th are intended to grow further support for, and build awareness of, The Project.

The idea behind The Project and the destination is to create a space for innovation, technology, teaching, and learning which is surrounded by, blended into, and bound together by sports, fitness, theaters, arts, music, food, and entertainment; all operating within a mutually beneficial, outside-in town environment, a literal and physical open source community. The ZIPPER JUNCTION Project™ was developed by local business owner, Jim Zumpone, and now includes Charlie Reisinger, Tony Waldron, Tory Arner, Gary Derrenbacher, Retta Batson-Zumpone, Dr. Marie Ann Zumpone, Meagan Ruppert as well as many other volunteer supporters.
