ZIPPER JUNCTION

What's ahead for us in 2016With 2015 rounding out to a close I want to first wish you a very happy and healthy start to the New Year! We’re quite excited about what is ahead for The ZIPPER JUNCTION Project™ and I’m excited to share it with you, one of our supporters.

Looking back on 2015, this was a year of building momentum through consistent outreach to our widespread community. Our intention was to share the what, why, how, and of course – to get feedback to see if we are on the right track. Ultimately, we wanted the NEPA community to know that this was not just for them, but that we’d need their help to make it happen. All in all, I’d say we were quite successful in this endeavor!

Now 2016 is a pivotal year in the process for The ZIPPER JUNCTION Project™ because this is the year we’ll be making the decision of whether or not this project is indeed going to move forward. At this point, I don’t know if it is, but with your support I believe it absolutely can forge ahead. I say this because while we have had a 95% positive reaction to everything we stand for and want to do, the reality is, without the surrounding communities and individuals helping out, we won’t be able to make this happen.

Until now, we’ve not asked anyone to do anything, besides sharing our information on social media and simply getting into the conversation.

However, in 2016 we’ll be building a grassroots initiative for fundraising and committee building, as well as actively asking folks to put us in touch with friends, family, or anyone else in their network who may want to share expertise and even some financial contribution to make phase one a success. Based on how well this all comes together, we’ll make the decision on whether The ZIPPER JUNCTION Project™ is indeed going to move forward with the already determined viable plans.

In order to do this, the very first thing we need to do is get our local communities to invest time, work, and yes, even money into this venture. This will show that there is commitment beyond the core group already within The Project – that there is enough support to move forward on a greater scale. If we are unable to show a wide base of support and commitment from the get go, we simply won’t attract the people needed for phases two and three.

Phase Two will be the attraction of, and commitment from, larger entities and philanthropists (both near and far from where ZIPPER JUNCTION™ will be built) in the form of financial contribution. Our intention is to have national impact – so stakeholders can come from anywhere.

Phase Three will be the national push, one that involves an already well recognized initiative and one that can be brought to the masses through such forms as national television, syndicated radio, and even crowdfunding on a mass scale.

The first two Quarters of 2016 will be when we organize Phase One and carry it out through the rest of the year. The final quarter will be prep for Phase Two and Three, which will be ready to go come 2017! More on that as we progress of course.

I speak for the entire ZIPPER JUNCTION™ team when I say that we are quite excited for the New Year. I look forward to working with all of you to make NEPA an enclave of innovation through the activities of the world’s first outside-in Town which is dedicated to creating experiences and opportunities so future generations can find their passions and have all the tools needed to make a good living following them!

So as you can see, we really are all in this thing together!
